Q: What is Craftee?
A: Craftee is an Australian online marketplace where makers and artisans can sell handmade, unique, or custom products. We connect creative sellers with buyers who appreciate quality craftsmanship.
Q: How do I contact Craftee?
A: You can reach us anytime at admin@crafteemarket.com. For faster support, include your order number or seller account details in your message.
Q: Where is Craftee based?
A: We operate in Australia and are open to buyers and sellers within Australia.
For Buyers
Q: How do I create a buyer account?
A: Click “Sign Up” at the top of the page and fill in your details. Once registered, you can browse stores, add items to your cart, and place orders.
Q: How do I place an order?
A: Browse a maker’s store, select the product you want, and click “Add to Cart.” Follow the checkout process to complete payment.
Q: Can I return an item?
A: Each seller sets their own return and refund policies. Please check the individual store’s policy before purchasing.
Q: How can I track my order?
A: After your order is shipped, the seller will provide tracking information. You can also check your order status in your buyer account.
Q: What payment methods are accepted?
A: Craftee uses Stripe to process payments securely. We accept major credit and debit cards.
For Sellers
Q: How do I become a seller on Craftee?
A: Click “Apply to Sell” and complete the seller application. Make sure you provide all required insurance documents and details about your products.
Q: Do I need insurance to sell?
A: Yes. All sellers must have public and product liability insurance. Craftee does not provide insurance, so please ensure your coverage is valid before applying.
Q: What are the fees for selling on Craftee?
A: Our standard subscription is $20/month with a 2% commission on sales. High-tier sellers pay no subscription but a 5% commission on sales. Stripe processing fees apply to all sellers (1.75% + $0.30 per transaction).
Q: How do I get paid?
A: Sellers are paid directly to their bank account via Stripe. Craftee does not hold funds.
Q: How do I update my store?
A: You can add new products, update descriptions, and manage inventory through your seller dashboard in your account.
Account & Technical
Q: I forgot my password. What should I do?
A: Click “Forgot Password” on the login page. You’ll receive an email with instructions to reset your password.
Q: Can I have multiple accounts?
A: Each person should have only one buyer account and, if applicable, one seller account to maintain accurate records and communication.
Q: How do I delete my account?
A: Contact admin@crafteemarket.com with your account details. We will guide you through the deletion process.
Shipping & Delivery
Q: Who handles shipping?
A: Sellers handle shipping directly. Delivery times and costs are set by each seller.
Q: Can I cancel an order?
A: Contact the seller as soon as possible. Cancellation policies vary by seller, so check their store terms before purchasing.
Community & Support
Q: Can I leave feedback for a seller?
A: Yes. After receiving your order, you can leave a review and rating on the seller’s store page. Please keep in mind our review guidelines and what is and isn’t acceptable to leave in a sellers review.
Q: How do I report a problem with a seller or product?
A: Firstly contact the seller directly and attempt to resolve the issue directly. If the seller can not resolve your issue you can escalate your issue to us at admin@crafteemarket.com with your order details and details regarding your attempts to contact the seller. We will investigate and assist with resolution.
