These Community Spaces & Interaction Policy (“Policy”) govern all interactions, conduct, and content submitted in non-core platform areas of the Craftee Marketplace (“Marketplace”), including Reviews, Seller Chat Rooms, Community Noticeboard, and Emerging Creators Friends of Craftee participation. By engaging with any of these Community Spaces, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by this Policy in full.

1. Reviews

1.1 Eligibility: Only buyers may leave reviews regarding products they have purchased. Reviews must relate exclusively to matters within the seller’s control, including product quality, accuracy of description, and communication. Reviews must reflect the buyer’s genuine experience and may not address factors outside the seller’s control, such as courier delays.

1.2 Restrictions on Negative or Neutral Feedback: If the seller has dispatched the order within the stated timeframe, buyers may not leave negative or neutral feedback regarding shipping delays, courier performance, missed scans, or delivery issues caused by the carrier, or delays resulting from incomplete buyer-provided information. Reviews referencing these matters may be edited, hidden, or removed at Craftee’s discretion.

1.3 Requirement to Contact Seller: Buyers must attempt to contact the seller to resolve any issue prior to leaving negative feedback. Negative reviews may be removed if the buyer did not provide the seller a reasonable opportunity to rectify the issue.

1.4 Buyer Responsibility: Buyers are responsible for reviewing all listing details, including size, colour, materials, customisation options, disclaimers, and timelines. Negative reviews arising from failure to read accurate listing information may be removed. Refunds or dispute claims are not granted in such cases unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

1.5 Prohibited Content: Reviews must not contain abusive, harassing, or offensive language, personal attacks outside the seller account, false or misleading claims, promotion of unrelated businesses, or private information of others.

1.6 Seller Communication in Reviews: Reviews may not be used to threaten or coerce sellers for refunds, discounts, or other outcomes. Buyers with unresolved issues must contact the seller or Craftee Support before leaving negative feedback.

1.7 Craftee Enforcement: Craftee reserves the right to edit, hide, or remove reviews that violate this Policy. Repeated misuse may result in warnings, listing removal, suspension, or account termination. Reviews unfairly penalising sellers for matters outside their control will be removed at Craftee’s discretion.

2. Community Guidelines

2.1 Purpose: These guidelines ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment in all Craftee Community Spaces.

2.2 Behaviour Standards: All users must treat others with courtesy and respect. Offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or harassing language is prohibited. Users must respect differing opinions and constructive feedback.

2.3 Marketplace Conduct: Only handmade products may be listed. Mass-produced, drop-shipped, AI-generated, or copyrighted items not owned by the seller are prohibited. Sellers must accurately describe products and represent their brand honestly. If leaving reviews buyers must leave fair and constructive reviews and not use false or unrealistic negative reviews to manipulate sellers for refunds or free items.

2.4 Prohibited Conduct: Users must not engage in fraud, scams, or misleading activity. Posting illegal, obscene, defamatory, or violent content is prohibited. Attempts to hack, spam, or disrupt the platform are strictly forbidden.

2.5 Privacy and Intellectual Property: Users must not share personal information without consent and must respect intellectual property, trademarks, and copyrights.

2.6 Reporting Violations: Users are encouraged to report any suspected violation of these Guidelines to Craftee at admin@crafteemarket.com. Craftee may review reports, remove content, suspend accounts, or take further action as necessary.

2.7 Compliance and Updates: Use of the Marketplace constitutes agreement to these Guidelines. Breaches may result in warnings, content removal, suspension, or termination. Craftee may update these Guidelines at any time, and updates are effective immediately.

3. Seller Chat Room Policy (Effective 7 January 2026)

3.1 Access: Only verified, active sellers may participate in the Chat Rooms. Non-sellers are prohibited from accessing these spaces.

3.2 Purpose: The Chat Rooms are peer-to-peer discussion spaces for sellers to share experiences, tips, and support regarding selling on Craftee. The Chat Rooms are not a direct support line for administrative matters. Promotion of stores, sales, or external links is strictly prohibited.

3.3 Conduct: Participants must maintain respectful, professional, and constructive communication. Abusive, offensive, threatening, or harassing content is not tolerated. Sharing sensitive personal information of others without consent is prohibited.

3.4 Enforcement: Violations may result in removal from Chat Rooms, suspension, or termination of seller accounts. Craftee does not guarantee the accuracy or quality of Chat Room content, and participation is at the user’s own risk.

3.5 Updates and Governing Law: Craftee may amend these Terms at any time; continued participation constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

4. Community Noticeboard Terms (Effective 16 December 2025)

4.1 Purpose: The Noticeboard facilitates connections between buyers and makers for handmade or custom products. Buyers may submit requests, and makers may respond.

4.2 Eligibility and Use: Participation requires a valid Craftee account. Users must use the Noticeboard solely for lawful, handmade or custom-related content and must comply with all Marketplace Terms and applicable laws. Posting false, misleading, defamatory, offensive, or infringing content is prohibited.

4.3 Submissions: Requests must include a clear description of the product or service, accurate contact information, and relevant specifications. Requests remain publicly visible for 30 days unless removed or archived at Craftee’s discretion. Users are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their submissions.

4.4 Moderation and Liability: Craftee may monitor, review, edit, refuse, or remove content at its sole discretion. Participation is at the user’s own risk; Craftee is not liable for interactions, disputes, or transactions arising from use of the Noticeboard.
4.5 Craftee does not guarantee that any request will be fulfilled and is not responsible for the conduct of any User on the platform.

4.6 Enforcement, Updates, and Governing Law: Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, termination, or legal action. Terms may be updated at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and users submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.
