Review Eligibility
- Only buyers may leave reviews regarding products they have purchased.
- Reviews must relate exclusively to matters within the seller’s control, including product quality, accuracy of product description, and communication.
- Reviews must reflect the buyer’s genuine experience and may not address external factors such as courier delays, carrier performance, or other delivery issues beyond the seller’s control.
Negative or Neutral Feedback Restrictions
- If the seller has dispatched the order within the stated Dispatch Timeframe, buyers may not leave negative or neutral feedback regarding:
- Slow shipping or courier delays,
- Missed scans or tracking issues,
- Carrier or postal service performance,
- Delivery issues caused by the carrier,
- Any delays resulting from incorrect or incomplete buyer-provided shipping information.
- Reviews referencing the above prohibited matters may be edited, hidden, or removed at Craftee’s discretion.
Contact Requirement Before Negative Reviews
- Buyers must first attempt to contact the seller to resolve any issue prior to leaving a negative review.
- Negative reviews may be removed if the buyer:
- Did not contact the seller prior to leaving the review, or
- Did not provide the seller reasonable opportunity to rectify the issue.
Buyer Responsibility for Listing Details
- Buyers are responsible for reviewing product details listed by the seller, including size, colour, materials, dimensions, customisation options, disclaimers, or timelines.
- Reviews may be removed if negative feedback results from the buyer failing to read or understand accurately listed product information.
- Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Complaints about size when dimensions were accurately listed,
- Complaints about colour when accurately described and photographed,
- Complaints about handmade or made-to-order status when clearly stated in the listing.
- Refunds or dispute claims are not granted in such cases unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Prohibited Review Content
- Reviews must not include:
- Abusive, harassing, or offensive language,
- Personal attacks or naming individuals outside of the seller account,
- False, misleading, or defamatory claims,
- Promotion of competing businesses or unrelated content,
- Private information, including addresses, phone numbers, or emails.
Seller Communication in Reviews
- Reviews may not be used to threaten sellers or coerce refunds, discounts, or other outcomes.
- Buyers with unresolved issues must contact the seller or Craftee Support before leaving negative feedback.
Craftee Rights and Enforcement
- Craftee reserves the right to edit, hide, or remove reviews that violate these Guidelines.
- Repeated misuse of the review system may result in warnings, listing removal, suspension, or account termination.
- Reviews that unfairly penalise sellers for matters outside their control will be removed at Craftee’s discretion.
Community Guidelines
Purpose
The Community Guidelines set out the standards of behaviour expected from all users on Craftee to maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Be Respectful
- All users must treat sellers, buyers, and Marketplace staff with courtesy and respect.
- Offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or harassing language is prohibited.
- Users must respect differing opinions and constructive feedback.
Promote a Positive Marketplace
- Only products that comply with Craftee’s handmade-only policy may be listed.
- Mass-produced, drop-shipped, AI-generated, or copyrighted items not owned by the seller are strictly prohibited.
- Sellers must accurately describe their products and represent their brand honestly.
- Buyers must leave fair and constructive reviews.
No Harmful Behaviour
- Users must not engage in fraud, scams, or misleading activity.
- Users must not post illegal, obscene, defamatory, or violent content.
- Attempts to hack, spam, or disrupt Craftee’s platform or user accounts are strictly prohibited.
Protect Privacy
- Users must not share personal information of others without consent.
- Users must respect the privacy and confidentiality of communications on the platform.
Intellectual Property
- Users must not copy, reproduce, or use the work of others without permission.
- Users must respect trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights.
Reporting Issues
- Users are encouraged to report any suspected violation of these Guidelines to Craftee immediately via: Email: admin@crafteemarket.com
- Craftee may review reports, remove content, suspend accounts, or take further action as necessary.
Compliance and Enforcement
- Use of the Marketplace constitutes agreement to these Guidelines.
- Breaches of these Guidelines may result in warnings, listing removal, suspension, or permanent termination of accounts.
Updates
- Craftee may update these Guidelines at any time.
- Updates are effective immediately upon posting.
- Continued use of the Marketplace constitutes acceptance of any revised Guidelines.
